Delete your account
Permanently delete your Brine account from the app and sign out everywhere.
You can delete your Brine account at any time, directly from the app. Deleting your account signs you out on every device, blocks any further sign-in, and starts a 30-day grace period before it's permanently removed. Once that period passes it can't be undone, so it's worth reading through what happens before you start.
Before you delete
Deleting your account is permanent. Once it's done:
- You'll be signed out immediately, on this device and any others.
- You won't be able to sign back in — the account is closed the moment you confirm.
- Your access to any workspaces you belong to ends. If you're the only owner of a workspace, arrange for someone else to take it over first, or that workspace's data may be left without an owner.
If you only want to step away for a while, you don't need to delete your account — just sign out instead.
Delete your account
- Go to Settings → Profile.
- Under Delete account, tap Delete account.
- Read the confirmation, then tap Delete account again to confirm.
That's it — you'll be signed out and returned to the sign-in screen right away.
What happens next
When you confirm, your account is marked for deletion and every active session is revoked, so you're signed out everywhere and can no longer sign in.
There's then a 30-day grace period. After those 30 days, your account is scheduled for permanent deletion and your personal data is scrubbed. Once that happens, the account and its data are gone for good and can't be recovered.
If you delete your account by mistake or change your mind, contact us within the 30-day grace period — we may be able to stop the deletion before your personal data is scrubbed.
