Printing packing slips

Print a slip for one order, or every packed order in a single run.

A packing slip lists what goes in the box so whoever's picking the order can check it off and tuck a copy in with the goods. Brine prints them straight from your orders — one at a time, or every packed order in a single run.

You can print a slip for any order, at any stage:

  1. Open the order.
  2. Tap the menu in the header.
  3. Choose Print packing slip.

Brine builds the slip and shows you a preview. Tap Print in the preview to hand it off to your device's print dialog, where you can send it to a printer or save it as a PDF.

While an order is in Packing, a Print packing slip button sits right beside the next-step action at the bottom of the order. Tap it to open the same preview without leaving the flow — handy when you want the slip in hand as you pick the items. For more on the packing stage itself, see Packing and fulfilling an order.

When you've got a batch ready to go out, you don't have to open each order:

  1. Go to Orders.
  2. Tap Print in the top right.

Brine gathers every order that's currently being packed and lays their slips out in one preview. Tap Print to send the whole batch to the printer in a single run.
